Lafayette Skate Jam - DJ Dave Heinrich & Germ Theory

Join us this summer for the first ever Lafayette Skate Jam, an exciting event series presented by the City of Lafayette! Hosted on a Friday night each month, the Outdoor Rink and Skate Park come alive with the perfect mix of music, skating, and fun! At 7 PM, the focus is on the outdoor rink with an hour of music DJ'd by Tier Two Live Productions. Followed by a great lineup of live, local teen bands for our skate park crowd. You can expect cold treats from some local food trucks and a few added surprises provided by local businesses and partnering city departments. Whether you're here to skate, dance, hang out with friends, or simply vibe to the music, the Lafayette Skate Jam is the place to be. DJ Dave Heinrich will play from 7-8. Dave has been on the turntables for over 25 years and mixes a wide range of music from Motown & Disco to Hip Hop & EDM. He's the founder of Tier Two Live and has been curating live music shows and other events since 2019.

Germ Theory will play from 8-9. Alternative Punk band Germ Theory (formed in 2020) is Alex Casano (Guitar/Vocals), Tanner Leyden (Vocals/ Bass), and Jacob Morales (Drums). The trio from Colorado takes all of their favorite music styles and mash them together to form their sound of punk, grunge, and alternative.
